Title: PSC - Player Moderators
Post by: MDI_Grendel on January 20, 2012, 02:52:51 PM
Please Stay Calm will be accepting applications for Global Chat Player Moderators. This will be a test for us to see if having Player Moderators will work within the confines of Please Stay Calm. We'll be selecting a small group of moderators from the applicants to be in our initial test. You'll be chosen based on your support, conduct, activity and helpfulness to the community up to date.

How it works
1. Your name will be BLUE. :)
2. You will have [MOD] appear beside your name signifying that you are a player moderator
3. You will be awarded 1000 Chat Tokens initially during your probation period, which we will use to monitor your responses and activity.
4. Your reports and emails to our support staff will have higher priority.
5. We'll ship you a fancy Please Stay Calm t-shirt. :)

A Moderator's Role
1. You help EVERYONE, without bias and judgement, enjoy the game.
2. You will help keep the peace and diffuse the drama, not ignite it or fan the flames.
3. You clearly understand and accept all the rules, mechanics and game play of PSC.
4. You can help the community by answering questions and helping new players understand the game.
5. You will report abusive and offensive behaviour, according to our Rules of Conduct, to the staff of PSC by emailing them at support@massdmg.com OR using the /report Chat Command (1.1.8 ).
6. You can bring the common issues, consensus and suggestions of the community forward to the Dev team.

Conduct
1. Player Moderators MUST follow the Rules of Conduct
http://forums.pleasestaycalm.com/index.php?topic=2.msg2#msg2
2. As a Moderator, you are representing yourself, the community and Massive Damage Inc. (MDI).
3. MDI reserves the right to revoke your moderator status at any time without cause or reason.
4. You must remain unbiased, having undying patience, resist confrontation and be able to rise above everything that is thrown at you - including trolls.
5. Please Stay Calm.

Rules
1. You can still play the game as normal, duelling, hunting, healing, everything will remain unchanged.
2. However, you are not allowed to abuse your Chat Tokens to recruit for your safe house in Global Chat; you are an ambassador for the community and game, not your safe house.
3. There will be at MOST 1 moderator allowed from the same safe house. This does NOT mean every safe house will or should have a Player Moderator.
4. If a Player Moderator leaves a safe house to join another safe house that already has a Player Moderator, then the Player Moderator will lose his Moderator status.
5. ANY indication of bias, favouritism or unfair play will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate dismissal.

These rules are in place to prevent gaming, abuse and influence of a Player Moderator's prestige. Please do not try to game this as we'll figure it out soon enough.

To apply, please respond to this post stating that you'd like to apply with the following information:

1) Your Username
2) How long you've been playing PSC
3) How many days per week do you play?
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day?
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you all!

Other Comments:Would highly enjoy doing this. I haven't played very long but ive learned the game most entirely by now and should be able to provide useful info. Ive moderated several other games and am knowledgeable of forums. I have always had a knack for diffusing tention and animosity between people. I enjoy helping others and am all around a likable person. I discourage baised and stereotypical behavior because there is always someone that proves such a statement wrong. Im not stating that im well qualifyed or well suited but would like to belive so. Im not saying i will be the most dedicated either because i do not play half the day or dedicate my life to gaming, but what i will say is that i chosen u will fullfil my role effectively and efficiently.Thank you for viewing this . ;D
Reason: I as said before have moderated many online games as well as beta tested. Games tested of betaed include; Runescape, Dead Frontier, Class 3 Outbreak, and a few smaller titles. Gaming is a forte of mine and I would be honered to be chosen to moderate a prestigious game that I feel in time could rise to be a great mmo or online franchise.

I would love to be a moderator for psc because it will further enhance my abilities to help make psc one of the top games on the market. I believe I have exhibited the social skills and unbiased attitude needed to be able to excel at being a moderator. I have established a friendly relationship in game with a plethora of people, regardless of safehouse. While psc may only be a game,  it has become a part of my daily routine and I believe I can prove to be an asset that helps this great game flourish!

Why do you want to be chat moderator?
I like and get along with everyone. I have no interest whatsoever in starting or stoking drama. I want GC to be a comfortable and welcoming space to new players and a fun way for established players to chat with each other. I don't think we need heavy-handed moderation, but a light, friendly touch that reminds people to try to keep some perspective and not get too caught up in a war of words.

I enjoy helping new players figure the game out and introduce themselves to the community. The more the merrier! I'm thrilled that so many people are applying to be mods. We have a good, strong community that will thrive if we can be patient while you guys are working on new additions to the game.

6) I enjoy the game, have pretty good understanding of the mechanics of it, and most importantly I am patient and helpful by nature. In addition I am a trainer as part of my day job (complex software that my company produces) so I am intimately familiar with the aspects of being and teaching someone concepts that may be obvious to me, but not so much for a non-technical minded person. Lastly, I have taken an active role in providing feedback on the game via these forums, which shows my overal interest in the long-term success of PSC. Oh, and I speak French, which might be handy for supporting non-English players. Merci de votre considération, et bravo pour ce jeux!

Whoa, lots of responses so far!

I forgot to add this but some of you have already answered, but I added another question:

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?

6) I'm pretty unbiased and diplomatic when it comes to diffusing heated situations. Plus, I especially like to help out new players and meet new people. I appreciated all the help when I was new and I would like to give that back. Lastly, I think this is a great game with HUGE potential and I just want to support the team at MDI and be a good ambassador to the game.

Game play length- A little under two months.
Days a week- everyday
Time of day- usually on most of the day, my job allows for free use of
time. Normally keep GC up while I work.
Safe house- none at the moment.
Why- I've already moderated for four other forums and I like helping all players whenever I can do why not add new and more efficient tools for that? As well my job involves keeping the peace so perfect fit. If you have an idea what the other side of the door looks like you should
Volunteer to open it.

4) I'm on almost all the time. Stamina regenerates quick :)
5) Rite Aid
6) As a public safety officer outside of the game I feel like I have the required customer service skills to become a moderator for PSC. I also have a lot of experience with other MMORPGs.

For too long GC has been a quagmire: discouraging new players and hindering their adoption and enjoyment of the game. Requests for support and offers of assistance are lost in the flurry of filter-bypassing profanity, ad homimen attacks, lewd age-inappropriate behavior, and the relentless spam of safe house advertisements that characterize GC at this time.

Well said!

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?: Well I think I would be good at it I know the game I support the game I hate drama whenever there is drama in GC I try to break it up keep the peace I have never stated drama or talked bad about anyone of someone needed help with the game I would always try to help them with whatever they needed with advice how to play what to do... I have spent a lot of my own money on this game as well I am one of the best players in the game. I think it would be fun.

5) Safehouse that I belong to: The Bazz n Crue
6) I want to be a Player Moderator because: I enjoy helping people. Even though I'm new, I feel that I can help new players just like other players helped me. Plus I could use this experience to learn also.  Another reason I want to be a mod is because I pride myself in being able to see a situation, debate,  argument, etc. from all sides. I listen well to what people say and can help all opposing sides find a solution to the problem. All in all I feel that I'll be able to help keep PSC a safe, fun, and fair place for all players.

Post by: Evildarklink on January 20, 2012, 05:57:26 PM
Game name: Evildarklink
Playing since: I honestly don't recall exactly when I started to play since I integrated this game in my life... Must be shortly after launch since I recall Global chat days that weren't so active... I could not log for 2 hours and still see what was the last comment before I left...
Days per week: I'd say that I always try to log in every day, but there is really important RL stuff that happens sometimes
Play time: Maybe 2-3 times per day, usually 20-30 minutes each time... I'd play more but I do have to wait for the energy and health to go back up...
Safe House: SpringBox Kitchen, I'm not sure if it is legit as I have no idea where it is located and I doubt very much that something with that name can exist
Why: Most of all, community growth and also taming of that community, the GC is wild, I can hardly look at it without wasting credits not knowing if I'm actually helping because it's too fast... But I do wish I could do more(this would also be the excuse I was looking for to actually stay online and contribute to the community, it's been itching me but because of my impossibility to know if I was helping in the GC, I've been restraining myself of focusing on other aspects of my life) I believe this is a really awesome game and believe I could be of good help to make it bigger...
Other info: Don't know if it's of any use, but I'm French Canadian and know some good bases in programming, maybe help with a translation? I prefer my gaming to be in English but that doesn't mean others are skilled enough in English to do the same... Also I could be of assistance in the rare case someone does write in French on GC

6) I'd like to be a  mod because I believe I could do some good of all the new players as far as helping them with questions and general information. I've been playing long enough to know what I'm talking about for the most part. I know I've been pretty hotheaded in the past but I'd like an opportunity to keep the peace and make global chat inviting for players of all levels. Thanks for your consideration :) good luck fellow candidates

4) 1-12 hours depending on what's going on

5 - ATCO iTek

6 - why? To be a guardian of peace and justice. I also want a t-shirt!  Also I've always tried to break up the more serious beef. Chat logs can confirm. I can be unbiased when the need arises.

1) Your Username- NSTD
2) How long you've been playing PSC- 3 Weeks
3) How many days per week do you play?- 7 Days a Week
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day?- 5 to 6 hours a day
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?-Baker Beach
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?- I want to be a Player Moderator so that I can assist others with the game so that they too can then get the same enjoyment and fun out of the game that I have come to like and therefore play so much. I want to offer advice and guidance to the new players to ease beginner frustration which I see is not an uncommon thing to see in Global Chat. I also want to be there to help cease and deter any arguments and/or disagreements that come up between players and while doing so remain unbiased. Taking care of conflicts between players that may arise in GC is important because quite a few times I have seen such arguments between players take some of the enjoyment out of the game for other players.

I wish all applicants the best.

1. Valan

2. I downloaded the game shortly after it's launch but have been heavily playing it for about 3-4 months now

3. 6-7 days depending if one day becomes insanely busy with school or work duties.

4. Depending on the nature of my log in, a range between 30 minutes to 3 hours.  If I was chosen to be mod then I would be on as much as possible

5. Rite Aid New Castle

6. My over all reasons to help are to make sure new players are taken care of in a  upstanding and appropriate manner and to ensure a clean and enjoyable experience for all. As many of the mods know I have wanted to help in whatever way possible. If you need me for this I am up to the task  but I will not be offended if you chose someone else from rite aid to take the position. In the end I want the best people for the job. So all that to say I would love to have the position but I won't commit suicide if you chose someone else. Thanks again guys for creating such an incredible game.

1) APARCIA
2) a little under a month
3) I play 7 days a week, I would play more if there were more days in a week.
4) On average a minimum of 3-4 hours on weekdays and all day and night on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
5) Alcatraz of course, Thanks for the help with the move guys
6) I'm definitely addicted to this game, I enjoy watching and jumping into the Global Chat room's random conversations, it helps pass the time for everything to recharge. I'm very dedicated to the game and would love to be more of a part of it, I personally believe that the GC room is pretty much already policed and monitored by a lot of the veteran players by maintaining some kind of order. Nothing I guess is perfect and would like to take this opportunity to take the job if i'm selected, plus i want a shirt. Thanks for my new addiction

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?: Alcatraz.
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?: I already try to help everyone I can on PSC. Though lately, I've found it better to direct people to Palringo, and then help them from there. But it would be awesome if I didn't have to do that. And that would help me to help everyone else.
I just want everyone on PSC to enjoy the game at it's full potential. And though I've been happy with how I've been helping, I would love to be able to do more.

5. My safe house is: Lowell,MI

6.I think I should be a mod because, new players need all the help they need. Also some users are using their privlige to chat very iresponsebly. (sorry ) ever since I joined I was being talked to in a such innapropriate language. some users even make fun of this game. But I just tell then that it may be hard at first but once you get they hang of it you'll be very hooked into the game.

I wish I had more to offer but all I want to do is make this a fun and safe game.

I wish all others the best!

I have only just found out about this game so only been playing for about a week

I have played the game every day so far and am not thinking about stopping any time soon

On average I believe I play the game around an hour to two per day or when I have the chance

I am part of pure passion safe house a level two friendly house

I would like to be a player moderator because when I came on this game I had to keen every thing my self and would like to give new starters my experience and I am a security guard as my everyday job so I believe I am good at defusing situations also at the same time if someone needs to be reported I am not scared of doing so but I am happy to have a nice clean laugh and joke with other players but I know where and when the line has been crossed.

Thank you for your time Tony1992

PSC is very fun and addicting, I believe I can help the community out with the mod skills I have gained and developed over the years. The increasing popularity in this game shows a need for more mods in general and I believe I can be of great assistance to the PSC community! ;D

4) Several hours, at least (I'm a computer programmer IRL (SQL, Java, various C languages, etc...)so during deploys or debugging there's a lot of down time. I'm sure you all understand.)
5) COG Station
6) I enjoy the game and understand the development side too. I enjoys making suggestions here on the forum and helping new players understand the aspects of the game. I may not post on Global as often as I used to but I lurk plenty and post suggestions here and there. I don't think a MOD should dominate GC anyhow but remain on the sidelines and interject as needed, which I believe I would do well at.

Thanks for the considerations!

And i want to be able to have that ability, i am a great people person, i help whenever somone needs help,im a boy scout and proud of it, heading twoards eagle requires me to be helpful to others be trustworthy and loyal, but i dont just follow the requirements, i take that sacred bond and i cherise it i make it my life, when i am into something i will go to the fulllest extent to finish it at  #1 or as good as i can possibly get, i know who you are looking for and i never break any rules in PSC, i follow by them and i live by them.

1) My username for please stay calm is the same as my forum name, Maxocalypse.                                           2) Around mid November, I remember seeing this game on The app store and quickly became addicted after a short bit.                                                                                                                        3) I always at least check-in everyday. Though to be honest this is my first day registered on the forums.                                                                                                                                                    4) at least a half hour a day. But I can spend easily invest hours into this game.                                        5) I started a safehouse in Palomar College, CA specifically in San Marcos. Always thought a college campus would be an ideal place for a safehouse during a zombie apocalypse.                                                                                     6) I've never been a moderator before but I love to chat on the Global Posts. Though don't get me wrong I'm joining for more important reasons than free chat tokens. Even though I've only been playing the game for two months I've always tried to help others especially new players, and I've even had some emotional moments from global chat where a user (name not posting for privacy) lost his/her good friend in a tragedy and I shared a heart to heart conversation with him/her. I really believe I can help promote peace in the forums and global chat whether by taking the responsibilities as an actual moderator to arguments posted, the role of a Sheriff when someone breaks rules or ethics, or just in general being an all around understanding socialble person when talking to others on chat.                                                                                                                                                                 If TLDR just know that I'm a nice fair person who will do what is right and necessary. Ugh I previewed the post and saw the scattered mess well I guess this is what I get for posting on an IPod touch.

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? - I want to be a more active part of the global chat community and make it a better, friendlier place for current as well as new players. 4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? 3 to 4 hours, more if traveling ..

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Rite Aid, New Castle

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? Ah, that's the rub isn't it? I believe, with my unique background, I can bring an even handedness to situations.  Being an executive level officer for both private and public software development companies for over 25 years, I've many trials and tribulations with engineering team conflict, customer support nightmares, board friction, etc.  I have a reputation for benig calm under fire, listening to both sides of a dispute fairly, and -- most importantly -- being able to admit when a wrong decision was made and change as the circumstances dictate. I believe my character's reputation on GC is very positive with help, comments, suggestions, etc. made regardless of affiliation to race, creed, or SH.  Having me as a player mod gives you many years of experience with these style games (age does have some benefits) and willingness to share.  Peace.

Length of play: Since October of 2011
Days per week of play: 7
Average minutes/hours daily on PSC: 5 hours
Safe house: Inakaya Japanese Restaurant
Why: I want to be able to help people especially the newcomers like I once was. I want to take on a role that not many are chosen for so I would consider it an honor if I am chosen. Being able to help people while doing (in this case, playing) something I love would be the greatest joy.

Name- dogamai
Time in- about 3-4 months
Days?- 7
Time?- 7-12 times/day 5-15 minutes each
Safe house- labcorp
Why?- due to that world chat requires tokens I am not as involved in the game as I would like to be. Being a mod would negate this issue

Why I would like to: I would love to moderate PSC because I play everyday, enjoy and love the game,   I am good with conflict and can settle a dispute rather quickly and quietly, I would love to be more active in the game itself than I am already and feel that being a moderator would help and let me do that, having the thousand tokens would allow me to make sure that the chat is a safe and friendly place for players new and old. I'm going to lock this for now just because it's too crazy and we only need a couple of Player Mods to start to see how it goes. We're going to choose one shortly and then more to follow as needed. Thanks again for all your applications!

1) Your Username: Pinkersnitch
2) How long you've been playing PSC: since shortly after launch in September, 2011
3) How many days per week do you play? Uh... Everyday. 7 days a week
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? Somewhere between 4-8 hours.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Fire on the Eastside
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? Good question. I think that the PSC user community does a relatively good job of policing and helping users on its own. Having player mods should enhance and continue that which already exists by providing additional support and assistance for the users (both veteran and new) and providing "more hands on deck" to assist the devs in maintaining order and upholding established GC rules. I believe that my conduct in GC has shown I have the right nature, abilities and knowledge of the game to help fellow survivors, to diffuse tense or escalating situations and to keep the game fun and entertaining for all.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do enjoy hanging out, posting and sometimes dancing in GC. If your intention is to have player mods be a constant but silent presence in the game and in global chat then, sadly, I'm not the droid you're looking for. Also, if you need my back up dancers to provide separate applications, please let me know.

Great work on a great game, everyone. Hopefully this next step enhances the game for everyone. Dancers out.

I am impartial and all duels are done at random without selecting specific people. Also, I would like a free t-shirt :D. If chosen, I will try to be of as much assistance as possible to new players in the work of PSC.

I've had arguments on global chat for no reason so I know how it is when someone just keep throwing words at you. I want  to recognize who and what the problem is an have the power to nip it in the bud and make sure the people responsible realize their faults . I would put people disbuting on global chat on mute until they stop disputing. How long have I been playing PSC? About a month and I can't stop it's very addicting.
How many days per week do I play? I play everyday. I love to heal and people and love to read GC.
On average how many minutes/hours do I play daily? I play about 5 hours a day. I'm always checking it to make sure people are healed and to lend a helping hand if possible.
What safe house am I a part of? Comfort Zone. It's just me and local friends of mine currently. I hope to one day be a top safe house.
Why do you want to be a player moderator? I always see disputes on GC and I want to help keep things clean for the newer players.  Also when I was new no one really helped me figure out the game and I want to do that for the newer players. I used to monitor a few chat rooms in my day so I know how to be fair and true to everyone involved.

Thank you so much for your consideration and thanks for a great game.

For now, yes, but we may relax this rule if the need arises.

One thing we hate is the allegations of "favouritism" (yes, spelt the Canadian way)... how would it look if we chose 4 Moderators from the same house but only 1 from everywhere else. Even if they were the 4 most level-headed, unbiased and fair players in the entire game, I shudder to think what would happen in GC.

We don't play favourites - never have, never will. Our goal and vision has always been what's good for the game in the long run.
Title: Re: PSC - Player Moderators
Post by: cscott300 on February 08, 2012, 08:27:58 AM
I agree with you Grendel.

The majority of players still attribute special importance of having a MOD in their house. Until this is no longer the case, it will not be possible to relax this rule. In some ways people attribute a sort of SH legitimacy due to the fact "they" have a MOD.

The reality is that recruiting new SH members is an ever important "chore" aspect of GC which the MOD bias is a by-product. To recruit you need to be active in GC. The MODs are by design very active in GC. Hence, it is perceived as "free" advertising for the SH.

(Removed rest of post, moved to MOD Discussion thread as suggested by Andigator)

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? - Harvard Law School.
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? - Ever since I have had a grasp on how the game works, I have tried to help new players in general chat with some of their questions and specific problems.  On more than one occasion, my answers have been described by other users as being "articulate" and well thought out as replies.  Also, as a former (very serious) World of Warcraft player, I know the grief and trolling that some less scrupulous players are capable of trying to inflict either in General Chat or as whispers and do not get caught up in the nonsense.  If I come under personal attack or troll, I generally ignore it or respond with something completely irrelevant, but overly witty to defuse the situation.  Thanks for reading this and taking me in to consideration as a moderator, and many, many, many, many thanks for creating this fun and addicting game. :D

1. Ridesdragons.
2. Since about a week before the christmas event ended.
3. 7
4. Around 5-7, and I spend some in the morning, some at noon, some in the afternoon. When at home doing nothing, I may play up to 11 hours.
5. Yee Hong Ho Lai Oi Wan Centre
6. When I first joined the game I instead focused on learning the game basics and seeing if I actually liked the game. After reaching about level 5 or 6 I decided I'd become attached. I started talking on GC, which sealed the deal for me. Inmediately I found a few players I liked, one being a guy named "MiloBoyd" who helped me and several players needing help. Soon afterwards I started to check the GC often, and I found many players needing help, so I helped them out quickly. Often I'd run out of tokens, so I spent nearly all the credits I got from offers and videos on more tokens so I could help more people. Sometimes I had no tokens and couldn't get any, which really sucked when there were no helpers on. Eventually I met 2 players who were constantly very helpful, Shado and Pinkersnitch, both with blue names and the [MOD] tag. I admired these players for their constant helping, and decided to constantly build up credits until I had 20 and then buy a bunch of tokens so I could help even more. It seems shado no longer has [MOD] status, but he's still helping any moment he can get. Also, most of my time spent in games in general is helping out players with less experience, as I know it can be no fun when you're blubbering around with no clue what's going on. In addition to the many newbie's I've helped out, I've also helped people with more personal problems. Pinkersnitch and Shado commented on my "sage advice". Others said that my "snake's toungue" isn't caused by my experience in leadership or diplomatic roles, but in that I'm just a helpful person. I believe both are true, as I put myself in those roles with no gain simply because I love helping other people. It's actually not that hard to sympathize with someone about something you've never done, it just takes the right thinking.
I love helping people, and becoming a [MOD] member will help me do it that much better. I promise to follow the rules of conduct and language, and will ensure to help players in need, as I have done before, if not more so.

6. Being a player moderator, it would give me great pleasure to be helping people enhance their experience on psc. I like to help people who need help with simple questions such as how to create a safehouse, or how outposts work. With a blue name, it will be easier to have people notice my answers, because you never know, someone who is about to ask a question may have it answered and not have to ask as I just posted the answer. It gives me much pleasure in bringing joy to people when I answer simple questions or give hints to help them. I look forward to helping the psc community! I hope you consider me as a moderator! ;)

I have only been playing for a couple of weeks I believe but the game has become second nature to me
I play every day of the week, even if it's just to chat
I'm usually on from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep... I'm typically even stay logged in at work haha
I'm currently a member of the Pizza Doctor safe house, founded by yours truly for fun!
I've wanted to be a MOD since I first logged onto the game.  I tend to spend chat tokens to help people in the global chat anyway.  It was slightly hard to get the hang of it but I'm a self proclaimed guru at iPhone apps so I picked up quick. I've also learned most all of the tricks to fixing small bugs and errors people tend to have. I like to bring in new players and encourage them to chat to make friends and no, I can't stand for people to ruin someone else's time by violating the chat rules.  I've read over the rules several times and have no problem keeping a sound, stable mind when backed into a corner, so why not apply! I love helping people and enjoy making friends so there is no better job! Hey guys!
My username is bse02
I have been playing PSC for about 2 and a half months (I had another account for about a month, but I lost my data)
I play Please Stay Calm as much as I can   ;D
I play 7 days a week
I belong to Elevator Brewery & Draught Haus in Columbus, OH. We currently have 17 members
I would like to be a mod for many reasons. One is that I love helping people, and there are a lot of people who need help and ask for it on Global Chat. Also, I have seen what the mods do and they are so helpful! I am very appreciative of what they do, and would like to join them. Along with that, I do not like seeing people being hurt by other's words, and would like to help put an end to that. Finally, I just think that it would be really cool to help everyone out that needs it!

Thanks to all of you MODs out there! I respect you even if I don't get chosen!     8)

Why should we choose you?  I am willing to work with people in order for them to understand and enjoy to the greatest extent, and have no issues diffusing the flare ups that happen so often in GC. I also am willing to take time to monitor the conversations going on so things dont get out of hand.

Thank you for your time,

2) I think a little over a month.
3) 7 days per week. I'm on every single day.
4) It varies, but I check several times every hour that I'm awake. I'm on ALL the time.
5) 100 Acre Wood
6) I don't take sides and I'm very fair. I don't fuel drama, and I try to avoid it as best as I can. If it can't be avoided, then I listen to both sides of the argument. I know the basics of the game and feel confident in my ability to explain to new players. Also, I'm very friendly!

1. quixotichoco
2. since a little after Christmas, 2 months?
3. 4-5 days a week
4. 3-4 hours per day I play
5. Fontainebleau
6. First of all, I actually went and read the rules of conduct.
When I was still a newbie, I pretty much had to figure the game out and I'd really like to help people that are having trouble getting started. It can be really intimidating when players just start out and I think some extra help and information could go a long way. I feel that the best way to solve problems is to remove yourself and think logically. Because of this, I tend not to get swept into situations. I'm kind of a stickler for rules and have a really guilty conscience for doing the smallest things. I can use correct grammar. I think it would be super fun and give me more of an excuse to play all the time  ;) I really like this game and would love to play a part in making it even better :D
Also, I would love to see my name in blue; it's one of my favorite colors.

My in game user name is shelll, and I am level 20, and have currently been playing for only 20 days, but play every day for between two to 5 hours. I am the founder of World's end SH, which I have spent a lot of time building to a thriving strong house, currently level 5 with 52 members at only 8 days old, in creating my house iv spent time reading forums and chatting to experienced players and learning how the game works. I enjoy the social aspect of the game and have many friends from many safehouses, and enjoy helping others gain the same pleasure I derive from the game, which Is why I'd like to become a moderator,

Thank you,
Shelll

How long I have been playing: About 2 months after it was released.
How many days per week do I play: I play seven days a week.
How many hours am I on PSC: I play about 7 hours.
What Safehouse am I apart of: Algiers Point
Why do I want to be a moderator:
I would like to be a moderator because I like helping the lower levels with their questions. I also would like to give the other moderators some time to relax. They work so hard and deserve to have some relaxation time. I am naturally a laid back person so I don't let insults get to me. If you would choose me as a mod I will promise not to let you down. Thank you for your consideration.

2) How long you've been playing PSC: About a month.
3) How many days per week do you play?: 7 days a week.
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day?: I'm embarrassed to admit about 6 to 11 hours a day. I like to lurk.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?: Den of thieves
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?: Well, I enjoy this game very much and am basically addicted to it(thanks), and so I like to help all the other little addicts out too. This game is very great and having good MODs to help out and keep the peace just enhances the game and not to toot my own horn but I think I'd make a good MOD(toot toot). I help when I can and use humor to try to keep things going smoothly. I'm not a stern face stone person though, so if you want one of those look elsewhere but if you ever need a charmingly witty MOD(toot toot) just call me.
Thanks for the wonderful game and for your time!

5) KSAT-TV
6) I love this game, I already try to help out new players in GC when I can and now on the forum when I can. I like how the devs actually consider the ideas of the player community during development. I'd like to see this game continue to be one of the greatest out there.

2) How long you've been playing PSC: 76 consecutive days
3) How many days per week do you play? Every day
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? It's hard to say...probably at least 4-5 hours. I often even wake up in the middle of the night on occasion to collect my outposts
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Hershey's Chocolate World
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? I've moderated and run game servers, discussion boards and gaming clans for various games and have always held supervisory positions in RL, yet I never let it get to my head. I think of myself as fair and levelheaded and always eager to help. Most of the current mods will agree that I am quick I help those who need it, no matter how many chat tokens it costs. I keep up with the release notes and typically stay abreast of the changes that are made.

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? To help players with their issues, impart some of the tips I have picked up while playing and make the game more enjoyable for all (and hopefully diffuse some of the fights on GC!). 2) Over 2 months
3) 7days/week
4) 4-5 hrs
5) The Oxford School
6) One of the great perks of PSC is the ability to converse with people in the General Chat. Moderators I feel not only benefit new members, but they can help create a great user experience. I've grown to love this game and I've seen how things can digress when there isn't a Moderator present. I feel I could be a great asset to PSC (and Massive Damage) as a moderator, already having experience reconciling different viewpoints and personalities. I would be very fair and patient in making sure all members subscribe to the rules of the game and its code of conduct in GC.

Thanks for your time and consideration.  ;)

2. I have played PSC for about 3 and a half months.
3. I play everyday, and have never missed a daily reward.
4. At least eight hours.
5. World's End
6. I would like to be a Player moderator because i feel like to often, there are new players in gc that ask for help when there is no player moderator around. I would like to help new players as other players helped me when I started playing this game. I almost stopped playing it because I couldn't figure out how to play, but other players helped me and I want to be able to do the same thing. I enjoy answering questions on global chat, and I also feel that some things should not be allowed to be said that are. I would love to help keep the peace between the SH's, because I have noticed many SH's have been getting into fights on global chat. However, if you are looking at someone to be very serious while being a player moderator, I would not be a good choice. It is absolutely killing me to talk this formal. I like to make faces with icons, and put random song lyrics in global chat.     @(・●・)@.     I hope you consider me for being a player moderator, and good luck to all the other applicants!

Playing for about 3 or 4 weeks.
7 days a week
About 15 hrs a day on and off
L'etoile De Marisol
The reason is simple, i enjoy playing the game and i want the rest of the people to enjoy it as much as i do. I have met nice people in here that thought me how to play and i want to give back the community. Im bilingual spanish and english, so i can be of some help in that aspect. And at last my actual job is kinda like a moderator in westin hotel so im used to understaing the problem that may appear between people and solving it with out any further issues. Btw ty for the game.

How many minutes/hours do I play?  I play 5-7 hours a day total.  Between work breaks and when I get home.
Safe house:  I am currently a part of the Alaska bush company.  That can change if need be.
Why do I want to be a mod?   Mainly because I feel I can help and watch others as they play.  To have an Alaskan moderator who is still going through the story and who is on PSC a bunch would be a great help.  Another reason is that this is a very addicting game.  As such,I play it a bunch and have lots of fun doing it. Therefore, I would like to be one of the people to help it grow even more.  I can be unbiased and helpfull.  Also, cool schwag is always a good motivator!  8)

5) GROUND ZERO which I am the owner of, 52 members right now and it's been less than a week! #9 on the leader board! AND #1 ON TOP SAFEHOUSE! Level 8!
6) To help the game, and I spend a lot of time in chat so why not? I see some pretty bad stuff that should be reported lol. I think I would be a great moderator! I don't say bad words and I'm always nice plus who doesn't want the cool blue name? I mean it's BLUE! Plus I help members already when they need things! I've probably spent a few hundred tokens in chat already! That's why I want to be a moderator, I don't like seeing pictures of butts and people fighting! Ha hope I get picked there are a lot of applications!

Also I downloaded the app at least a year or two ago but it would crash and so I stopped playing I forgot the name of the account. It was when I had an iphone 3G when I got the new 4S and was looking at apps I remembered it and downloaded! Very glad it works now I want to get an ipad and play on it!

4) i play pretty much anytime i'm not 'working' about 3-5 hours daily.
5) i started and have built Silver Lake Beach with my own hands it is a level 5.  most of the early advances were made with credits.

6) i play and try to play a lot of games, like most people of the mtv generation i need at least 3 things to entertain me at any given time.  currently i'm reading Zone One, watching reanimator, and killing time on the forum waiting for my energy to get to 86 so i can go get another rabbit.

this is the single greatest addition to the zombie catalog since world war z.  sidenote, aren't you terrified that movie will be terrible?  me too.  anyhow, i would like to be a moderator, as i made a lot of mistakes in this game early, and feel i could be 20 levels higher had i visited the global chat more frequently.  i like the friendly community y'all have built, and feel i can add to it.

yours in love and squalor,

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?
     - I constantly check the forum to help any and all players advance to the best of their abilities. I recently became the admin of the Please Stay Calm Wiki (http://pleasestaycalm.wikia.com/wiki/User:J.Moreorless) and plan on updated that to the fullest. I want the game to continue to be fun and I want people to continue to have fun and so I enjoy helping them anyway I possibly can. Not to mention I've purchased, twice, the $100 credit pack and plan, in the future again, on purchases the packs again. I don't often enjoy games of this caliber- and it constantly astounds me how fun it is. I plan on playing it until Massive Damage decides, for some reason, to no longer offer it.

2) How long you've been playing PSC?

3) How many days per week do you play?
     I play 7 days a week
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day?
On average, it's probably about an hour or so in the game, this is only because I don't actually own my own ipad/iphone, I share with my family. But I am also   reachable through the forums as well. I check the forums whenever I can if I don't have the ipad.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?
     @home
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?
I want to be a Player Moderator because I want to help improve PSC. It is one of my favorite games to play. I also want to help new comers learn how PSC and help show them that PSC is a fun game to play. I also want to show that PSC is an environment where the players can feel safe and won't be abused in the GC. I've beta tested for one other game, that I can actually remember, is Maplestory back in the early 2000. I then decided for my college to go into architecture but found my calling to games. I'm always looking for ways to help improve games.

4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day?  ~see above

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?  ~Algiers Point

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?  ~Ive discovered the most fun to be had in this game is by helping people learn the ropes and better thier game.  Well, the second most fun behind the fighting/****ing  ;)  but one generally doesent do that all day, just in little bursts.  Im addicticated to GC.  Honestly I just think you desperately need more mods, and Im happy to give it my best.   You know me guys. (lol hell better than Id like sometimes... DrLucky!)  I burn hot but I can easily be talked down by people I respect, as my whole house has done for me.  I would expect that having Pinkersnitch mainlined via ModChat would be more than enough for ten spazzes.

Addendums to the above
~Puggamoo would be the perfect choice in my house, if she posts here I withdraw.  Ditto Shado Rei should he want to return to Modding.
~Please consider the idea of a MODBoss.  A midground in between Player Mods and Devs.  A go to guy or girl.  Someone should be able to update the other mods as things move quickly in GC and are not always in the diecrection you guys expect them to go.  Someone in the trenches, who can advise the Mods and keep them closer to being in the loop.  Its terrible when something new happens and the Mods have no freaking idea whats going on.  Causes unnecessary panic amongst the players, unneccessay stress amongst the Mods.  This person could be given slightly more information than the Mods, nothing regarding MDI inner workings or development, more like numbers when needed, plain data to send out to the Mods and from there to the players. (Perhaps we could even set up a PayPal donation center for the ModBoss to contribute as this would be proper work, if not a proper job.  The kind of money we spend here I expect grateful donations would be fairly hefty, even if it was tiny amounts from individual players.  You could contribute as well of course. XD  )

Hai there. Name's MadmanWon. Wait, let me check my nametag...
Yep, that's what it says here.

Feels like forever since the first zombie crashed through the back door of the house, and it's hard to keep track of time when you're fighting for your life, but I'd say since the 1st of February, so nearly three months now.

I'm here every day that ends in 'Y' 'Y' did this happen? God, 'Y' did you take all my family and friends? bcoz, lets face it, there's nothing better to do during a zombie apocalypse, and who has the chance to take time off? Except those Guvmint bastids in their so called 'Green Zones'... I'll show them safe.... release their experimental bunny failures on us.... I've built the rabbit launcher... now to catch a live one... Well, I say live, more like 'still mobile', but they're fast little suckers

I spend about 10-15mins hunting and scavenging every hour, and I like to listen to the radio chatter while I 'rest and recuperate' okay, okay. Hide., but I have to sleep sometime. Usually about six hours a night, often less. I can hear them, chewing at the walls... chewing, chewing... the chatter makes me feel less alone, but I rarely find the equipment I need to broadcast and join in.

I've set up my safehouse in Edinburgh Gardens, Dead Centre. Been putting it together all by myself, and don't see that changing anytime soon. People around Melbourne are all zombies... Us Aussies are a helpful lot, and the only way to help zombies is getting chewed on. That's just not for me.

Not that a t-shirt isn't nifty, but I'm more of a suit'n'tie guy gotta look your best, never know when the Queen might come around for tea, although I'd probably have to brain her with a cricket bat, these days, but if you had a Please Stay Calm vest then by all means, send me one. I really want one of those trank pistols though. When people lose their calm they make so much noise that it puts us all at risk zombie hordes, gathering at the windows, chewing and tearing.... and being able to shut them up for an hour might just let us all see another sunrise.

Ahem. The Moderators oath.
yes, I'm taking an oath. This is serious stuff.
Will you please be quiet?

I SWEAR to answer the questions of new survivors with utmost patience even if they are complete morons who refuse to read a simple instruction manual written in clear English and to help them to understand and possibly enjoy the horror that is the Aftermath.

I SWEAR to faithfully discourage and report any profanity, slander, libellous comments and any bastids that act like Gunmint fools and try to stop the rest of us from having some fun before a zombie uses our skull as a serving dish
I SWEAR I can tell the difference between people having some playful fun and those who are out to damage other peoples calm.

I SWEAR awww, do I hafta? Okay... but this hurts
I SWEAR not to use the power vested in me by the state of MDI to promote or encourage people to join my safehouse. I suspect that having a blue nametag is sexy enough to naturally encourage people anyway. I SWEAR to be the only person with a blue nametag in my safehouse, whichever safehouse I'm in. Probably just end up playing trank dart tag, and never giving this one up anyways

I SWEAR to support MDI staff, the PSC community and the zero tolerance policy zombies always slip through the cracks, zero tolerance is a necessity of survival to the best of my ability.

I SWEAR to use the trank gun provided only in the manner authorised by the state of MDI, not for any personal grudges and to treat all Aftermath survivors equally like the amazingly lucky idiots we all are.
I SWEAR to return the trank gun and blue nametag with good grace if requested and not pretend to be someone else or get all uppity in GC or the forums if that's what happens.

I SWEAR to not abuse other players, or the authority vested in me by the state of MDI, and to always BE CALM.

ZOMBIE! KILL IT! KILL IT NOW! HAVE SOME OF THIS! <splat> HOW ABOUT THIS! <chunk...chunk> LIKE THAT DIDYA! WELL HOWDYA LIKE THIS! <brrap brrrap brrap> WHY WON'T YOU DIE! <rrrrrrrrrrr> HAHAHAHA CAN'T FEEL YOUR LEGS? THAT'S COZ I'VE GOT THEM! WANT SOME MORE! HERE'S A KISS FOR YA! <cha-chink><BOOM>

I'm always calm. See?

HA HA!

Heavens no. I don't want to be a Mod.  I'm here to say. WE NEED MORE MODS!!!!

For crying out loud. We have 2 overworked Mods (Thanks Lessifer and Pinkersnitch) and 1 real visible Mod (Thanks MiloBoyd)

Can we get more Mods?  Are there more Mods? If there's a limit to Mod slots; can we move players that would like to mods into  those slots?

What's the purpose of a missing Mod anyways? <--- Only rethorical question here. Want to make people think. Especially the MIA people.

Thomas James

I don't know exactly how long I've been playing but it's been since at least October I believe

I'm on every day Monday-Friday for at least 5-6 hrs Saturday and Sunday I'm on for about 2-3 hrs

I'm in Bluetone Productions

I would like to be a mod because I'm a very friendly player and I wanna help take some of the pressure off of Pinkersnitch and the other overworked mods. I always abide by the rules of Psc and stay out of any drama. I do not cause or start drama as well. I am a respectful player and do not let insults get the best of me because it is just a game after all. If you allow me to be a mod I will not be bias towards any safehouse including my own and I will always uphold the rules of Please Stay Calm. Most importantly I love this game it is by far my favorite game to play on the iPhone and I thank y'all for making it

3) 6-7 days a week.
4) 3-5 hours a day. (depending on if I work or not that day.)
5) 20th Bomb Squadron.  (Anyone want an invite, just email me your code and your gamer name for confirmation and I'll send you an invite. Currently a level 3 safe house with 17 members but growing fast. It was started four days ago.)
6) I would like to be a MOD because I have played quite a bit but also rather new so all the common troubles and their solutions are still fresh in my memory.  I am also an easy guy to get along with and I love to help people who are in the same position that I was at one point.

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? 100 Acre wood.
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? I would love to be a mod. I'm on enough that I end up responding to questions anyways. The mods were overly helpful when I started playing PSC, I'd like to return the favor to the newer players.

1) Your Username: YourDoctor
2) How long you've been playing PSC: Roughly 85 days
3) How many days per week do you play? Every day! This perhaps is the first indicator of addiction. Or a well-designed reward system for daily logging in.
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? Difficult to estimate. I log in roughly hourly? Plus spend considerable time in GC/whispering when creds/tokens allow. GC/whisper activity is daily, however heavier usage is several times a week when credits are amassed.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Morrow Library, where we have books to read between hordes. Free ammo-clip with every new library card!
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? As much fun as the game is, I enjoy aiding people far more.  I work with people in the real world; the desire to help others carries over to the online profile as well. I want to help others learn the ropes, avoid the pitfalls, and not have their fun squelched with abuse of freedoms in GC. This is a wonderful game with an awesome community. I'd like a particular Doctor persona to add to it even more!

My game name is colBurton. I have been playing for a few months, and since I love it, I play at least an  hour or towo or three a day,  every day, even on school days. I really want to help the new players learn to love this game as much as I do. My safe house is the hive, composed of very supportive players and Id recomend them as well, especially Scott kaine, our leader. I hope you will consider me as I have always looked up to the moderators and feel I owe them because they helped me out to. I an also good in a leadership role and in the boyscouts.

Why I wish to be a moderator:  the three things I like the most are shooting, computer networking, and helping people (PSC is a close fourth).  I go out of my way to help people even if it interferes with my interests and want to find more ways to help people.  I've helped admin a high school computer network for the past 2 years and have had to deal with freshmen breaking their laptops and juniors forgetting how to print to the right room.  My neighbor has a kid with autism.  I have a wide range of experience with a wide range of ages and I believe that this will further my experience.  Contact me at dumbbell1023@gmail.com for further questions (but to non MD people I will immediately block you)

These rules are impossible to follow.  Speaking as a person with a mod in the stronghold, I have seen the conflict that comes when a mod player refuses to acknowledge abuses by other players and houses/holds.  The mod program should be done away with altogether, and MDI should take ownership and responsibility for the game themselves, rather than putting players in a conflicting role like this.
Title: Re: PSC - Player Moderators

Disagreed.

Mods have at least a two fold mission.
-Answering questions
-Enforcing rules

Mods excel in the first point.

Mods also do well on the second point.  I would however like to see some avatar regulation, but aside from that they are relatively effective.

A far cry from removing the MOD program and forcing MDI to self monitor chat 24/7.

Hell all! I figure I'll apply and give this a shot. I've got tons of free time due to self-employment and my move so here goes... I'd like to apply with the following information:
1) TomArchangel
2) Approx. 4 or 5 months, not sure of exact time.
3) I play PSC every day, multiple times a day.
4) 30-60 minutes per sitting (often longer) 3-5 times per day.
5) The Satellite (formerly of ATCO Itek)
6) The reasons I would enjoy becoming a player-moderator are many but I will try to keep this brief (for obvious reasons of time constraints on the staff reading this)... First, I feel I have a very amicable personality and enjoy being able to assist other players with issues or merely to help them get settled in and acclimated to the game community. I have done this before on other games, and have some experience at doing the job. Secondly, having recently relocated to my new home and becoming self-employed has given me free time which I think would allow me to be more able to dedicate my time towards something like this that is not only helpful to the game but to the community of the game as a whole. Additionally, I honestly am not looking for any of the perks associated with the position such as the blue name or free chat tokens. I merely honestly would love the opportunity to help others with some of the free time I have. I enjoy PSC very much and would like to be able to give back in some small way to the great community I have gratefully become a part of and the game that I have come to actually consider a part of my daily life.

If any more info is needed, please don't hesitate to contact me via email. Thanks!

How long have you been playing? : Around Christmas time, 2011.

Activity (days) : I'm on around 1-4 times a week

Hours: Not much. With My duels and stuff, i go on around an hour a day.

SafeHouse: Harvard Law School

Why do you want to be a player mod? : I HIGHLY engoy the game, and I'd like to make the community a better place. I've seen people be rude in chat, and i can't sit back and watch: I should be doing something to help the fellow survivors, make us happy and fufilled. I have moderate Mod Expirence (FB and minecraft servers), and I'm very respectful, hoping to make a good outcome. If it comes to a really bad situation, I would harden up and do my job.

I just want to show you how serious I am about becoming a mod. I really want to be a mod so I can help the community of PSC, I've never amounted to anything in my life and maybe this could be my start, just become a simple mod for PSC. I promise with every fiber of my being if I become a mod for this game I will make sure that the community gets their questions answered right away and as easy to understand as possible. Also I am no longer in a Safehouse.

Please look over this and my application with a kind heart.

Best regards

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?  I would like to help the newer players as I was helped when I began playing. I would also like to give a fresher touch to the mod world. I think it would do some good to have a new mod that does not have the strong ties to some of the older players. Also I would conduct my self in an unbiased manner dealing with the GC community . Thank you for your time and concideration.

How long I have played psc: over 6 months
How many days a week I play: 7
Hours per day: 6-9
Safe house: Love
Why I would like to be a player moderator: I would like to be a moderator because I love to spend time in gc having fun and making new friends. I love to help new survivors and those who are more experienced no matter the Lvl. I would never abuse my tokens to influence my safe house or any other safe house. I never influence or cause drama and I try my best to defuse the drama. I play psc as a game and nothing more than a game. I also never take anything said to me personal because I play the game to have fun. I would like to mention how much I really really wish to be moderator and that I'm not applying for moderator just to be applying, I really do think I can be a great help to all survivors of any Lvl. Thank you for your consideration.

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?

I am well acquainted with the atmosphere of global chat and it's usual inhabitants.  I already enjoy helping new players and I'm on the forums semi-frequently, updating myself on upcoming changes and other current events.  PSC needs moderators which in disputes will be dispassionate towards any players in particular and instead just ensure that chat is a fun, fair and safe place to communicate with other survivors, which is the reason for my application.

Burmey

I have been playing PSC for a couple months now and I have been on here every day since I downloaded the app. I play as long as I still have energy, health, etc. And when I am waiting for it to restore I socialize in GC. I pay attention to the questions that are asked and read what the Mods have for answers. In doing so, I have learned quite a lot. On the off chance a Mod cannot answer the given question I search for the answer myself.

I am a the founder of my safehouse, Sumpter Township Pistol Range and I look forward to building it up with the small crew of players that have joined. I do NOT want to join another safehouse/stronghold because I want the personal satisfaction of building something myself and to fully experience the game.

I would like to be a player moderator because I enjoy helping new players and I think my level headed nature would be a great addition to the team.

Thank you for your consideration,
-Steve

Reason for becoming MOD: Please Stay Calm is without a doubt the best game on the iPhone. It has addicting MMORPG elements, it is constantly updateding with new and and fresh content, and has an amazing community that keeps it alive. Thus being said, this game is my all time favorite. To new players just starting out first impression matters. If they have questions about the game and reach out to the community for help and no one responds to them, then they will lose interest in the game, possibly even stop playing without giving it much of a chance. MODs play a huge roll by helping people looking for answers. I try to find what I have in common with people on the Global Chat so they feel that there's someone that they can relate to. I always try to help out "that one" person who asks a question in all the several conversations going on to let them know someone is paying attion to them. I hope that you may consider me for becoming a MOD. I promise to do everything in my power to help and encourage all gamers, resolve any problems that might ensue between people, and make the Please Stay Calm community more enjoyable. And remember...a promise made is a debt unpaid.

Unlimited power! I can ban people I don't like, then just play with my friends!  And, I could peddle influence!  Just think. My enemies will fear me and my friends will be rewarded, and I will profit. And that's what PSC is all about - making friends and having a good time, and crushing the hopes and dreams of your enemies, all without interference from people I don't like. I would rule GC with an iron fist!  Also, I'm morally ambivalent about favoritism to certain preferred players. Win-win!

In short, I would be proud to indiscriminately oppress GC in CVC's name. Please let me know when you would like for me to begin my reign of terror. - Major "Hammer" Damage

I would like to point out that this Major Damage guy is all about himself, while I am here to serve the CVC with my unique skillset.

As my first order of business I move to mute Mahor Damage for the next 24 hours to give him time to reflect on his actions and improve himself to better serve the community not by crushing those he does not like, but by Hulk Smashing the entire game base with wreckless abandon to give everyone time to post in the feedback section, thus improving the game for everyone not just myself.

As demonstrated by last night, your 'test' has failed fyi....

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? The Colony

Thank you for this opportunity to be considered for the position of General Chat Player Moderator. For too long GC has been a quagmire: discouraging new players and hindering their adoption and enjoyment of the game. Requests for support and offers of assistance are lost in the flurry of filter-bypassing profanity, ad homimen attacks, lewd age-inappropriate behavior, and the relentless spam of safe house advertisements that characterizes GC at this time.

I have a long history in PSC for being a fair player who is quick to respond with a joke or a smile to attacks from others, showing no favouritism to anyone. I have extensive experience pushing the limits of the profanity filter, demonstrating that there is little reason for anyone to ever violate the clear ToS guidelines and bypass the filter when expressing their outrage or displeasure. As one of the physically oldest players in the game, I'll bring a level of maturity to GC moderation that has been missing for far too long.

I welcome the opportunity to do all I can to make PSC the best game ever when I'm chosen as a Player Moderator.

Thanks!
(updated for timeliness)

Since my initial application in January it's become apparent that not only am I uniquely qualified to be a MOD but there is a strong groundswell of grassroots support from players in all SHs for me being a MOD. The recent imbroglio over moderator favoritism, has shown the need for a strong, non-partisan MOD. I'd like to take this opportunity to expand on my initial application to illustrate why I continue to be the best, if not the only, choice in these troubled times.

My experiences being banned from GC (not just muted) allowed me the unique opportunity to engage with the Devs and see things from their perspective and instilled in me a new-found respect for the spirit and values of the community.

I firmly believe the "please be respectful" message is sufficient warning against bad behavior. As MOD I would work tirelessly with the Devs to implement a more comprehensive system of muting: 15m "check yourself" mutes, "carpet" mutes to silence everyone in GC, and notes attached to mute messages to make it clear to GC why someone is being muted.

Too often mute is seen as a tool of last resort, or toy to wield at the request of players as a birthday present or as an anti-procrastination tool. Mute should be the first option for ensuring a respectful GC and maintaining the spirit of the community while encourage players to consider how their actions reflect the values of the community.

I look forward to your support in the coming MOD elections and remember: mute early; mute often.

There's a number of current MODs who are "lacking" to say the least. Mwp would be a better choice than most if not all of them.

Hello PSC.

My username is Andy7385. My length of playing the game sadly is only 98 days actively as my bonus is. On average, I play the game 5/6 hours a day. Some before work, and most After work. I work 2:45pm cst to 11:00 cst. Currently I am the "leader" of "the wonder lake state bank" safe house.

As for my reasons on being a "Mod"... I'd like to believe that I still like to see game chatter and posts being there for everyone. No flaming, no spamming. As well as helping any player. No matter the age of service, as well as enjoying a healthy competition thanks to my help.

Thanks for taking your time to read my post

3) Daily, all week.  Curse you Daily Bonus!
4) My average time is roughly 4 hours in total spread in snippets throughout the day.  I'm at the mercy of an erratic schedule, so it varies day to day.  My least active time is weekends due to responsibilities accumulated through the week.
5) Founder of Cacapon State Park Lodge
6) This one isn't straight forward.  The usual rules of course apply, I find myself compelled to help others, remembering keenly how it was to be out of the loop.  However, my application is not submitted without certain considerations to the 'encouragement' of other players... O_o.  I had also agreed that if my house pulled a good showing in the more recent ApocOlympics I would submit an application.

Those tidbits aside, I seem to span a few areas of low MOD coverage, though admittedly those gaps are 20 minutes or less most of the time.  I don't have any other experience to offer beyond being an information addict when it comes to events and features.  Being helpful is a side effect of that affliction.  The only outlying issues I'd bring to light is I am the leader of my house, and I am not entirely sure if that is a conflict of interest for the role, but I am willing to separate my roles as much as is applicable.  Beyond attempting to exercise good judgement I can't make any promises either: I'm human and prone error.  That all being said, it's a role I'd take seriously, and as a result I don't make light of the application.  If there are any concerns or questions, please let me know, and thanks in advance for your time.

+1 for DMS!

As a player who is on almost all of the time, I can honestly state there are a few players who would make good Mods.

1. DMS - knows the game, has a great sense of humor and doesn't mess around with petty, childish behavior between players as our SH leader.
2. ESCH - knows the game, gives great advice to players who are serious about the game without being pushy and acts like a mod most of the time already.
3. PinkertonB5 - very helpful and listens.
4. Agent D - fake mod already
5. HapaJean - knows her stuff, funny and is well known.

I think new mods should come from a pool of established players. Would I like to be a mod? Sure, and so would half of GC regulars.  However, some of these folks are already doing the job without the title. I say, give these folks, above, a try!

Name: Redux Beats
Time played: Since July 5th 2012
Amount played: daily, 1-4 hours
SafeHouse: The Peace Tree
Reasons to become mod: I know a lot about the rules of PSC and anyother info about PSC. I love to help the communtiy in anyway I can.

Other info: Sadly on July 26th I was in a horrible car accident and was hospitalized. In my time in the hospital I studied the rules of this game and read up on how the average gamer works, on how people react to key words, and on how to keep people calm. I am really good and putting out the "flames". This is the second submission I have posted. If you want the job, show them you want it. So expect more submission from me.
If you are unable to contact me through the fourms, please feel free to contact me via email.

About 4 1/2 months
7 days a week
Anywhere from 6-10 hours a day
The Fantasy Factory

I have been a moderator in several chat rooms and forums over the years, my first being when I was 19 (33 now) I am also a registered developer with a background in several programming languages, including Objective C. I have a solid understanding of device settings and believe I can help other players with problems that may be device related, needing fresh install, or be able to tell if problems are device related or app/server related. I am pretty level headed and enjoy helping people, and I believe my previous experience as a moderator will be a nice addition to help the current moderators, as well as answer player questions. I don play favorites and don't let friends slide for the same thing other get muted for.  Thank you for allowing us the chance to help, and for making such an addictive game! Lol

Just wanted to add that with my work schedule, I'm on PSC all hours of the day and night (rotating 12 hour day and night shifts, and I play while at work and while at home, so I am online anytime from morning, afternoon, and night. And in most cases, all night)

1) Your Username - MooTheCow
2) How long you've been playing PSC - Around 2 months i reset my ipod from the IOS patch and lost my char im currently level 6 now gettin back up there.
3) How many days per week do you play? - I play 7 days a week.
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? - Around 10 i play world of warcraft on the pc and other games and hit up ipod while in middle of stuff there or i enjoy PSC alot.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Im not currently in a safe house nor will i be in one i prefere to remain neutral doing things on my own.
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? Lately and if not all the time when there are no mods on chat has been filthy ive reminded people of the rules but they do not listen they just abuse troll and what not Mainly the swearing is a problem i think people need some mutes they are bypassing the swear filter and just flaming other users i think this game would be alot cooler if chat was moderated better the people would learn to obey the rules and stop the abuse of others hurting others feelings and basically causing hurt and trouble to others the overboard swearing and bypass of the swear filter is a big problem. Sure alot of the mods dont want to be the bad guy they get called power trippgers and what not but They are doing there job the times when admins are not on its overboard ya pretty much forced not to go into chat due to the ammount of swearing and hate and racial abuse what not.

2) 101 Days of fun
3) 7 Days a week
4) Far too many, but asa rough estimate I would say about 7-8 Hours
5) The Colony
6) I have been interested in applying to be a mod for a while now. I am aware at this point that there are already two separate mods within The Colony, and know that to have three could be considered rather ridiculous by some. However, I thoroughly enjoy the game, love to help others out, and have finally brought myself here to hopefully get the opportunity to do so. As far as things go in terms of handling the rigamarole of gc, I already try to present a refreshing, gentlemanly air that gc can sometimes lack (no offense). As a mod, I would certainly do my best to ensure that while I am on, gc is staying as close to tip-top shape as it can be. I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Reginald B. Witherspoon

P.S.- Adding a touch of British style to the mod pool could be worthwhile ;).

2. Approximately 185 or so. Lost daily bonues a few times early on, so hard to say exactly.

3. Weekly Activity: every day

4. Daily Activity: Pretty much every moment when I'm not occupied with work, sleeping, eating, or making sweet sweet love to my wife. During Events, I like to include PSC in my love-making.

5. Current safehouse is Bluetone Productions

6. I'd like to be a moderator because this is the first game in which I've found such a great community that's helped me so much, and I'd like the opportunity to give something back in my small way. I've travelled to many other safehouses and strongholds, and gotten to know many of the other players. I'm a pretty level-headed guy; although it's well known that I've been involved in some good-natured feudin', that's part of the game, and if I become mod I'd certainly work to keep the peace and not instigate or help fuel any shenanigans. I think I'm well enough liked and respected and known as a non-trouble-maker, and part of a house for which I think the same can be said, that few people would have a problem with me being a mod.

Wow, I would slap one of my students for a convuluted sentence like that last one. Thanks for listening,
k

Cause traveling to a perceived 'rival' SH and killing their horde during normal working hours and spending the time and pills to get a spot on the daily leader board and then laughing and bragging about it to GC is not at all a drama-prone move.

I'd like to be a moderator...

1) Username: kierst72
2) How long you've been playing PSC: 153 days
3) How many days per week do you play: everyday!
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day: 3 hours/day on and off
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of: FEMA Region 6
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator: I've been playing for awhile and have found that most of the questions asked are easily answered by someone that knows that answer. I'd like to be one of those people. I know what I'm talking about. I don't recruit in gc. I'm polite to everyone. And I don't tolerate inflammatory speech to others. Nobody else from my SH is a mod, so the choice should be easy since our house is in the top 10.

Thanks,

1) Your Username: Benjixcore
2) How long you've been playing PSC: I started out playing some time last year and during a device restore on my iPhone, I didn't realize that the app had been deleted. I recently got back into the game last month.
3) How many days per week do you play? Every day
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? I'm constantly checking every half hour or so during the day to reuse my energy/stamina as it replenishes, so I'd say easily 5 to 8 hours per day.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Death Star Ver. 2.0
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? PSC is one of the few apps that has actually caught my attention enough to become immersed in levelling up and furthering my character's skills. The community seems to be really tightly-knit and a lot of new players are constantly posting for help in the chat area. It would be nice to give back to the community and help these new players with any problems or questions that they may encounter. I have previous community moderation experience with online MMORPGs as well as vBulletin-style Forum communities and could provide references and site URLs if requested.

Hi again! I applied a while back and hoping applying again will catch your attention!

Username: xHaze
Been playing for 287 days straight
I play everyday for at least 10-12 hours. I even play while I'm at work heh-heh
I'm currently in Pandora SH

My last explanation on why I wanted to be a mod wasn't so thorough. I've learned a lot since I applied last. Helping new players out is second nature to me. When I see a new player asking a question in GC it's an automatic instinct for me to explain how/what to do (to the full intent of my knowledge). There are times when I'm in GC and there are no mods on. During those times, I could be that mod. My old SH mates and I actually created Pandora just to help out new players, and so far it has been a success. So to wrap things up, I play this game often and I'm a helper by nature. So hopefully you guys at MDI will consider my request on being mod. Thanks for your time!

I would actually love to see GC completely removed from the game.

I know this won't happen, because there are so many GC ho's that would just leave.

But there is really nothing productive about GC.  A bunch of eggplant jokes, and a bunch of noob haters.  Mods who are totally power crazed.  They love the hammer, and they love telling noobs, "go look at the FAQ you stupid noob."

MDI should think of something better.

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? I enjoy conversing with people, have a pretty good grasp of the basic game mechanics, wish to see the social aspect of the game grow through respectful, fun interchange in the Global Chat feature, and I have a passion for passing on whatever knowledge and tips I have about PSC on to others, especially new players (the game isn't fun in my eyes if you don't know how to play). I believe that PSC is an excellent gaming platform, the developers are highly responsive (whether via forums, email, or Twitter), and that it has great potential. I'd like to make a greater contribution to this app than just my game play and forum posts.

I'd like to vouch for Anvar.  I've watched him play in two different games.  In all the places he has been of huge help to new people and more experienced people.  He has a way of dealing with people that is amazing actually.  He is patient and cautious acting with calm deliberation.  I wouldn't be in Balcony if I didn't think he was a good leader.  If you are looking for moderators Anvar would be a very wise choice.

He didn't ask me to write this.  I volunteered because I think he'd be a huge help in GC.  He is already helping new players at every available opportunity.

The White House

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?
Hello there MDI, I'm sure you've heard from me a plenty. To tell you the truth, I applied for mod months ago and realize now that I was never ready for it had I ever received the position. But now, I feel things have changed with me as they have with our PSC community. I want to help the newer players have a chance to see what this game is really about instead of being mistreated. I also hate to see the hate from people in GC and that it sparks arguments. I may not be the best out there, but what I lack I gain in persistence and experience. I want to be allowed to try and make a difference within our community.  I hope this can be taken into consideration. But that's all for me now MDI, as always, keep chiming on and a cup of sunshine for Neko. :D

Good day everybody! This is my first post ever in this forum and I would want to make this as a vouching to Anvar as our next PSC player mod.
Yup I'm an Asian from the other side of the globe and yes we don't know each other really much and yes again I hereby vouching for Anvar and why? Simple enough, because that his so COOL & AWESOME.
But excuse me, please don't link your imagination to someone like idk Steven Spielberg or Morgan Freeman hahah NO. One does not simply being cool & awesome just because that he look alike or act alike somebody else you know ;)
Well in fact I was about to quit playing PSC like about half an year ago, then I decided to spent all my resources to anyhow join 'some' safehouses. Just trying to see something different before leaving the game that's it. So I somehow randomly joined Balcony and, so skip the tiny little things that had happened in between, eventually I keep on playing PSC until today.
Sometimes his like a dictator. But to us it's not the fear that we are having inside, it's the respect that's within us, & the felt of being a good friend thats whatmost important.

All in all, ANVAR for MOD~
Cheers~ :)

I would like to recommend Anvar as a Moderator.  He tipped me off about this game.  I was on his team in Shadow Cities.  He was an inclusive player.  He has been instrumental in getting newer players up to speed in this game.  I feel he would be fair in matters where a Mod would have to intervene.  I am a dev (on much less fun projects) and when I relay dev-speak concerning this game he seems to grasp what I am saying and, I believe, would be a great facilitator between the community and the devs.  Speaking of which I need to drop some thoughts on you guys about the last couple of events. I'll handle that in some other posts.

Anvar for Mod.

Bad Brains.

I believe that Anvar would make an amazing mod. Having played another game (Shadow Cities) with him, I feel that he has many traits helpful to being a mod. He is a well respected player that has the charisma to lead others as well as smooth out any problems between players. I'm a quiet person in game that does not chat much, but despite that he always remembered the helpful player that I am, showing that he will not forget about anyone. In both games, he is a helpful person that helped new and old players. He is a knowledgeable player that answers everyone's questions, but is not afraid to admit if he does not know something. All in all I think he has all the qualities  for being a fair, attentive, and helpful mod that can diffuse any situation.

How many days per week do I play: I play seven days a week.
How many hours am I on PSC: I play about 7 hours.
What Safehouse am I apart of: Algiers Point
Why do I want to be a moderator:
I know you probably read this already but just in case you missed mine I'm doing it again.

1) Outlaw 6
2) A couple of weeks
3) I play 7 days a week
4) 3-4 hours per day
5) My Safehouse is Sin City
6) I want to be a Player Moderator because I believe I have a lot to contribute to the Player community on PSC. Sure I am fairly new to PSC but I have had experience moderating chats and forums in the past. I don't play favorites nor do I let personal feelings get in the way of what should or should not be done. I am pretty thick skinned when it comes to threats or insults towards me but I will come to the defense of anyone that is being treated poorly in chat. I believe it is always important to give warning before taking action and allowing the offender to cease the offensive act. I consider myself to be a fairly active player both in the game as well as general chat as I do visit chat several times night or day. I work night shift so roughly every 2-3 hours I am able to pop in and say "hi" in GC. During the day I would visit psc roughly every 4-6 hours depending on how well I am sleeping.  ;)

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you.

Another vouch for Anvar.

His work in establishing the Balcony safehouse and efforts in persuading fellow iOS mobile gamers to give PSC a try, are the primary reasons why PSC has replaced all other location-enabled games on my devise.

Why: I believe every sh needs a ambassador and our house does not have a mod. I would like to become a MOD because I love PSC and I will glad to be a mentor to all new and already PSC members. To keep global chat from being a bully fest, censor dodging, trolling, and keep PSC a game to play where you do not feel welcome and to want to come back. I want to be an example of a good MOD for PSC and all who play. Thanks for letting me apply and try to be a MOD. PSC is my number one game no matter what LOVE it.

1) Your Username
       Shadowfury45.

2) How long you've been playing PSC
       About a year now.

3) How many days per week do you play?
      I play 7 days a week.

4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day?
it varies on a daily basis, but i would say around 5 hours average

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?
         N/A  (jumper)

6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator?
when i first joined PSC there was a player who helped me get through the baisics. he explained how things worked. unfortunately he is no longer here. but he taught me one thing, "Even the Vetrens were beginners once" and that everyone needs help from time to time. and i have tried to follow in his footsteps, and i enjoy greatly to help new and old players alike.
i dont have a permanant safehouse, i prefer to jump to ones that have new players and i try to answer any questions they might have.

i try my best to fill in when there arent any available mods on global chat, or if the mods are busy and unable to answer questions. and i greatly enjoy to do so.
i hope someday to be a mod, so i will be "offically" able help people with whatever questions/support they need.

I am on in the morning and at night.  I have a friendly disposition and could envision being a moderator because I like to help others. I would assist new an ongoing players with any questions or concerns they may have. I've never had any issues in GC or otherwise that would give reason to not consider my application. I have helped others when I've seen they need it. I have patience and respect of others to handle this responsibility. I would represent MDI in a positive way. I would love to be considered for MOD position.

I would like to apply for moderator because I feel that lately GC had gotten out of hand. I feel that PSC is my family and those who are new should be welcomed not trolled because they are just starting out. We all started out at the bottom at one point. I've been playing for 283 days now and most of you already know my psc story, it changed my life. I met my amazing husband here, some of the bestfriends I could of ever hoped for and a great support system when I needed it. My hope for others is to have a pleasant experience with the game as well. And a warm welcome to psc is what is needed for that. I play the game 7 days a week and several hours a day, I am currently at KSAT but Tenda and I like to travel around to other SH's to either visit friends or help out low level houses.

This is my formal application to become a Global Chat Moderator.
My player username is Soarinwonderbolt.
I have been playing PSC for about one year.
I play every day of the week. *Noting my day streak is at 334 at the time of this post.
On an average weekday I play about two hours, and on the weekends it tends to go up to three or four hours.
I am part of WitSec-Z.E.D. (Zoned Elite Division)
I would like to be a player Mod so I can have a bit more respect when I am giving technical advice to players, and have a chance to deal with bothersome chatters that are mainly trying to clog up chat or get a bad reaction out of players (trolls). I respect the rules of chat and keep any biases out of my gaming life. I have many quirks that I have been judged for, so I know what it feels like, and it shouldn't happen and is against my morals.

On numerous occasions new players who have not been respectful have gone unchecked. I have never been muted and have always been respectful of the game, I voice my opinion when the need arises, participate in all events and support the new players in game play.

Why should I be a mod: being a mod is like pimping. Gotta have a strong pimp hand in case some fools try to act up.  But a pimp mod also has to have that gentle hand for when u need to tell someone they doing a good job. I won pimp of the year is Psc 2012 and I'm looking to retain my pimp king title. I should be considered a mod because I am friendly to everyone and would welcome new comers to the game and make sure they don't fall into the wrong hands of the pimp slap.

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of?: CSP
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? I love the game. I understand management and how some decisions must be made, even if they are unpopular. In my RL job (Workforce Management) I have to cut through a lot of BS and see things in black and white with gray being handled by those with more authority. I consider trolling trolls as an offense equal to the original trolling. When doling out deterrents I'm so transparent I cast no shadow. I'm friendly and amiable unless the opposite is needed, but only as a last resort. And finally, when I was a single digit survivor, I remember being extremely frustrated with the game. If it wasn't for the helpfulness of some of the mods, I probably would have quit. I'd like to pay that forward, so maybe some other new player might change his or her  mind and stick around for a year.

1) Your Username: [Username Omitted]
2) How long you've been playing PSC: As I frequently travel time I am not certain how long I have been playing. If I had to guesstimate I would say since 1674.
3) How many days per week do you play? Every day that ends in a q.
4) On average, how many minutes/hours are you on PSC per day? I pop in for exactly one minute each day. I time myself.
5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Capacon State Park Lodge. They're cool, I guess. I'm more of a lone wolf though. Or a lone tiger. Sabretooth tiger. Sabretooth wolf tiger.
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? Um, my favorite color is blue. And I like being an individual. Unlike all those other yellow sheep. But I would really prefer my name to be Neon Pink, so my superiority can be assured. Nothing says domination like neon pink. I also heard of something called a Super Mod? I would like to be a Super-Duper Mod. So I can mute all the other mods and devs. Cause those guys are out of control. I would also like a pony. If that's no trouble.
Please and thank you.

Hannah, this is hilarious! Epic!

4.) About 2-4 hours a day depending if I have work.
5.) Pratt and Whitney
6.) Well I want to be a player mod because I would get to help out the newbies with the game, become part of the team, and help to make this game a more fun, user-friendly environment if that's even possible. Plus when i get on this app while using the bathroom I will feel like I am truly sitting on a porcelain throne, over-looking all of my subjects;) haha

I think that mods are integral mediators that help the developers have the time to handle the actual game and any technical issues, upgrades, new features...etc, while making sure the players have a resource of information available to them. I would like to help with that responsibility and have fun while doing it. There's a thin line between modding and dictating and I know I can handle that. Whenever The Clapp is not farming me, he's always a great help to my game play; patiently answering all of my questions such as: When are you going to stop farming me?  Why are you farming me?  What did I ever do to you?  My duel is maxed, will you please stop hitting me?  All of these questions, and many more, he answers very quickly via whisper.

I give two thumbs up, way up, for The Clapp to be MOD!

P.S.  I hope that makes someone laugh  ;)  The Clapp signed me up for PSC about 380 days ago.  Since that time I've hit Player level 107 with matching Hunt/Duel/Heal.   He's helped me a lot along the way and would make a great MOD! Oh one last thing... he rarely duels me  ;)

Evening! After 590 days, I'm throwing my hat in the ring. As the Founder of KSAT-TV, and as an Engineer by trade, I like figuring out problems and giving solutions out to other Players. I've also worked with Zhunter and Grendel in the past to troubleshoot Stronghold problems. Since I basically play 12+ hours a day anyway, I think it's the 'next step'. OH almost forgot about 'Sunday School'! You may not remember, but between January and May 2012 I was stuck on a 'graveyard shift' and used to host 'Sunday School®' where ANY Player, REGARDLESS of House affiliation or Player Lvl, could ask questions without impunity or ridicule. I'd like to get that 'vibe' again. Thanks for your consideration.

Regards,

.....(chuckles)....yes. I realize I couldn't advertise for KSAT-TV anymore!

Gamer I'd: Masontp
How long have you played the game: almost 2 years
How many days per week do you play: 7
On average, how many minutes/hours do you play daily: about 9-10
What safe house (if any) are you in: M.I.A.
Why do you want to be a PSC moderator: I've played the game a good little while and know most everything about the game. I help out when I see needed and have brought 3 other people to PSC. I started out as a bad character but have changed and would like a chance to prove that and show everyone. I would love Mod just to help out whenever I could. And where I can. I'm usually on even at the crazy times of the night. I have many friends and don't think I have any enimies I know of.

4) On average, I am playing PSC for between 5-6 hours a day ending at 12:00-1:00 AM
5) I am part of KSAT-TV
6) I want to be a Player Moderator because I enjoy helping PSC members out with issues they may have as well as I myself am still learning the little details of how the hordes work and such. One more reason for wanting to be a Moderator is that I enjoy the PSC environment and would like to help make it even more user friendly within Global Chat!

Make Severus a mod.  He's practically a mod already, just without the blue.  He also speaks french, even though even he can't help French Greg.

Plus mod time would mean less time to farm me.

On a serious note, you should think about voting/nominations for Mods, some of the mod making decisions would have been much better from 'the people'.

5) What safe house (if any) are you a part of? Founder of Climax Coffee 8)
6) Why do you want to be a Player Moderator? I enjoy this game and it's community of players. I have felt rather protective of it for some time. I have enough experience to help new players, and have enough patience and good judgement to uphold the rules firmly and fairly. I am friends with pretty much everyone, but am not beholden to anyone. How long I've been playing PSC: At least a couple of months before Mobage took over.
How many days a week I play: I'm a daily player!
How long I'm on each day: From 2 hours up to as much as 6 hours.
Safehouse: World's End.

Why I'd like to be a mod: Personally I believe this is one of the best games of its genre out there, and with the increasing influence of new players signing up each day, I believe it's vital that they get critical, efficient, yet friendly advice to start them off on their PSC legacy. I have strong respect for each and every player, including the moderators, who helped me when I was new to the game. I'd like to give something back to the game and constantly and consistently improve the game for the welfare for others. I understand being a mod can be tough, but it's worth it knowing I'm helping others fully enjoy the PSC experience. Living in the UK also means I can help the newbies that come on at different times from the more numerous American players!

Thank you for taking the time to read this, it would go a long way :)

How long have I been playing: I've been playing for almost two years *(three years). My current daily login streak is 565 *(currently 998 as of 11/15/14) days.
How many days a week: every day
How long am I on each day: I'm on from 2 to 6+ hours a day, depending on my work schedule.
Safehouse: I was in Black Star until last night, now I'm in Fight Club (FIGHT CLUB, BABY!!!).

I love this game. I love it because I've been able to connect with people from all over the world. I also love it because it showcases people's many styles of communication in GC, and in SHC, and can be a powerful tool for creating clear communication channels among groups of people, and get them trying to understand one another. By doing this, I believe that it makes the game more enjoyable, because we are building a strong community of players. Players who are more willing to talk things out rather than just explode and walk away. This benefits players not just in game, but hopefully in RL as well.  We're strengthening tools for good communication in game and in RL.  And, I love to see that.

Plus, there's this AWESOME zombie mini-game attached to the chat app.  I get to squish zombies while I chat with friends from all over the world.  And, on occasion, I get to help people.  And, demonstrate my sense of humor, play, and asshattery skill mastery.  Plus, I love me some sparkles.

I recently went by Alyssa77 but now thanks to Psc I am Alyzooka :-). Amazing how a download of a app on a phone can change your life forever. I think I would be a good mod because I am very firmiliar and have dealt with many Psc experiences. I am on and off everyday and night and would be on more if I was a mod. I am currently in the MIA safe house.  I would love to bring my Psc life to the next level and work with the rest of the mods to keep Psc global running fun and helpful. My interest in being a player moderator stems from my experience as a brand new Psc player. I was quickly turned off of GC because of the way some experienced players treated new ones. I still periodically see a new players hello completely ignored by the others in chat. A facetious reply to a genuine question. This is discouraging to those experiencing it.

It's widely known that the amazing player base & interaction between players is such an important part of that PSC environment we all love. I'd love to introduce more people to that exact environment, every player adds to the atmosphere in their own way. It's important they're met with a friendly, knowledgable player ready to help them with their questions, chat about the weather or, just say hi.

Over a year of game play and I can honestly say, I love PSC now more then ever!! I feel being a mod is an excellent next step in my game.

Thank you for your time & hopeful consideration.

I've been playing this game for 800+ days I believe.
I play every day of the week, and between 5-9 hours a day, still.
I'm currently at Fight Club for my safe house. I'd like to be a player moderator because, well, PSC is pretty much my life. I'm a stay at home dad, and PSC is my social life. I don't get out much, I don't really play any other games. I've been addicted to playing PSC since I downloaded it, lol. I'd like to help out with the game to make it better, and to continue to see it grow. I could go on and on, but I won't.

Thanks,
Brian aka crownxtra

How long I've been playing PSC: about 2 months now
How many days a week I play: 7 days a week (everyday)
How long I'm on each day: 3 hours minimum
Safehouse: Black Star

I would like to be a moderator to help all the new players when they need. I want to be able to answer every question I can to ensure that they have better knowledge of the game and what to do to make the game more fun and easy for them. I also think it is correct to help tell people they should not post mean or vulgar posts on Global Chat as well as the forums. I am on everyday and if anyone need help I would be able to do so. I like seeing that people are willing to help each other to make the game fun and competitive when it comes to events. The events are the best part of the game and they are a genius' idea! I love this game and everyone in it.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this... I would be so grateful if I could become a moderator to help improve the experience of the game!! :D

1) Storm Advisory
2) A little over 3 months
3) 7 days a week
4) 2-6 hours a day. Sometimes more
5) The Playboy Mansion
6) I enjoy playing the game and helping newcomers whenever that have questions about the game. I also want to be able to better help new and old players alike better be able to enjoy the game and help ensure that global chat is a friendly and cleans place for all. I would appreciate the chance to help ensure that PSC remains a great game. Thanks for our consideration!!

2) I remember a time before whispers--in the days when healing and training were things we dreamed of. The world was still young then. We had yet to build strongholds, but we did wait on skirmishes--that always has been, and always will be.
3) You can choose not to play on certain days?
4) A lot.
5) Alcatraz
6) I'm tired of Raikua flaunting her modhood. It makes me feel like less of a man.

2) I have played PSC since shortly after the launch, however after a few years after playing I took a break but I am now playing regularly.
3)I play 7 days a week
4)The minimum amount I play is 7 hrs a day (I love this game)
5)My safe house is The Island of the Misfit Toys
6)I would like to become a player moderator because even though I stopped playing I've come back and I now am once again addicted to the game. I love chatting in gc and I've never started nor fueled anything in gc. In RL I worked a job that required good customer service so I know how to talk nicely and how to handle a situation that gets out of hand. I love helping survivors by answering any and all questions that I see while on gc. I would not abuse the moderator status by spamming my sh but to treat the moderator status as a privilege. I hope you choose me to become a moderator. Thanks

2)With this profile almost 2 years now but honestly I was playing PSC when you guys first introduced the "survivor clones" in the event PLEASE SLAY CLONES. (It was on and off then because I was exploring things on the appstore)

3)I play 7 days a week

4)Between 9-12 hours everyday

5)My safe house that I'm in (and plan to stay in permanently) is, Black Star.

6)Being a MOD is nothing new to me since I was a mod for Lego Universe when it was online and running. I also have been a mod for Disney's Toontown Online along with other Disney based online games for kids. I have a very good memory with precise details for how to complete the game's main "comic strip" based storyline missions, and have answered many questions from new survivors based on those. From my interactions with all of PSC's "current" MODS I would like to think that some (or ALL) of them think of me somewhat as a friend and enjoy my presence in global chat when I'm there. I take ALL of PSC's rules and code of conduct seriously, but I do have somewhat of a "fun" personality.

2.  I have been playing for a little over two years (around 550 days on my current main account which will remain my main forever now)
3.  I play every single day, even when I have kidney stone surgeries!  I whip out my phone and at least check in with my SH and do a little of    hunting/scav/healing/dueling
4.  I average precisely 13.5345862940 hours of gameplay a day, I know this because science.
ok, ok, it's honestly around 9 hours a day minimum unless I'm incapacitated from surgeries.
5.  I am part of Biscayne Park.  Love my Bpeeps!
6.  I want to be a player moderator because I enjoying explaining things to players and trying to help everyone grow their skills and defend us all against the never-ending zombie onslaught.  I also excel at drama diffusion and problem/solution situations.  I am quite knowledgeable about PSC and as a player Mod I would be able to impart my knowledge much more efficiently as people are generally more inclined to listen to the Blues and Greens.  I have an awesome personality and would give global a funny yet informative aspect, as well as an unbiased view of all things PSC player related situations that would satisfy all involved, efficiently and appropriately. I've been the moderator for quite a few sites(Forums for cars, and a few for games) and know the ropes in that regard.   I love PSC and I hope that you guys and gals decide to give me a shot to have this great privilege and honor.  Thank you for your consideration!

2. 888 Days (More I'm sure, I came back after my hiatus from the Endloop systems version)
3. 8 Days a week! (No it's all week, only 7 days)
4. 12 Hours as a minimum, really whenever I'm not sleeping (who really needs that?)
5. KSAT-TV/Alcatraz, I just go wherever the wind takes me. And I keep alts EVERYWHERE to allow me to help all over PSC.
6. I enjoy helping people in GC and SHC,  I'm willing to help anyone. A majority of all the work experience I have is unpaid volunteer work so a psc chat moderator may not be a big change for me.I'm quite helpful ask most people (the rest will just tell you I'm an ass; thats not a lie).  I'm a very charismtic person and I have a vast knowledge of PSC. I'm a greeter, encyclopedia and help desk all rolled up into one. My addiction could prove to help PSC, I'm extremely active and am usually on when no one else is it seems. Over the course of the recent few months mods haven't been on or been helping as much and I've picked up their slack. Over the course of the last few months I've personally written several PSC help guides, so I am quite knowledgable and experienced with the game; a few of these are found on the forum for easy access.  I have played other games and have experience as a chat moderator. I've been branded 'Mod-Lite ™' by my GC peers due to my helpfulness in GC. But why take my word for it? Pop into GC sometime I'm happy to help as a MOD and even not as one. When I bought my custom FC I used a portion of the credits to invest in tokens to help GC as a show of good faith to pay back the community which helped teach me the ways of this zombie apocalypse, it's been a successful project so far. I'm known for my billions of alts, which I use for good, they check chat while I'm playing the game so I can always be available to help. I always end the day happy because I know I made a difference helping new players and veterans alike. MDI, I can assure you if I am made a chat moderator you will not regret it. Anyhow I always have a fall back, I hear my skills would transfer over to an extremely knowledgeable Walmart Greeter(Yay options!)

Algiers Point
Played for 1000+ days
Play everyday
Hours I play: 2-3 if I'm not in global I'm lurking
Why: I don't know. It would be a change of pace. I tend to help people when I'm bored which is most of the time. Of course, like everyone else, I give my little troll comment but then I answer and try to help. I have a split personality when given responsibility. But ultimately it's up to you to decide. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  have a nice day I guess lol.

2. 982 Days (A wee bit more from the time before my PSC hiatus that ended in Spring 2014, I remember Endloop Systems)
3. 8 Days a Week (I wish; all week, each and every day of the 7)
4. I play pretty much every waking minute i can on here, at least 12 Hours a day. Most often i'm here 18-20 Hours a day. Pretty much I'm on 7am-3am Eastern Standard Time (Sleep isn't essential when you have PSC)
5. Alcatraz I go wherever the wind takes me. i keep various alts stationed across the Zombie Infected world of PSC to allow me to be readily available in a time of need.
6. i love helping people, that's the easiest and quickest way to explain why i want to be a PSC Chat Moderator. In the past i'd say i wasn't always the poster boy for MODship (not sure id say that now even) but when you (The CVC/Massive Damage) allowed PSC friend codes to be bought i changed my ways to use the plethora of tokens i purchased to do something like helping the PSC community which helped nurture me as a player and human being. Being a Greeter, PSC Encyclopedia and Help desk is what allows me to find a purpose in PSC; doing so I've spent countless hours of my time researching and scouring the game to every little ounce of information i can which has allowed me to build various PSC help guides varying from Login Titles, Information of zedia zombies and much more Such examples can be found on the PSC discussion forum and the Wordpress Pages of Cacapon State Park and Alcatraz (Thanks Agent D and Paeoniaa!) I'll admit some of my methods in the past dealing with fights in GC and SHC have been "unorthodox" in my choice of wording but let it be known if I was Blue I wouldn't abuse that privilege and sweat like a sailor despite the wishes of the censor. The community has shrunk and slowed down activity in GC which saddens me and this has resulted in some slack created by the MODs and i as well as several others have stepped  up to pick up this slack. I'm always on, always available and always vigilant; with these traits I feel i would be a good candidate for a role as a moderator. I'll say the experience from that has helped me get a closer look on the inner workings of how the Blue do their jobs and the hardships involved but i will have you know if i get picked for such an honor: i will do my damnedest to ensure you and the PSC community will not regret it. its a challenge i'm not willing to back down from, i'm willing to help, and ill still do my part in helping the community whether i'm a shade of tan (i think that's the color of our player names) or blue like those honored to serve the PSC community. It'd be a great honor to even be considered for such a position. And to prove my dedication I will keep this application updated to the day. I'm still very interested in this position!

P.s: Sorry for the Third Application, But my first wasn't good enough in my eyes, the second was outdated and i didnt update it completely. so i hope this hits the "Goldilock's Effect" just right you know? I wish I had a PSC resume and letters of recommendation to send you all.  Thanks, Niko.

2)I've played 265 days I hope to make it even higher then that which it should be but I lost my login credentials and couldn't find out how to log in.
3)I just started back and I'll be playing 8 days a week
4)I'll be playing when school lets out and I get back home which is 4- whenever I go to sleep
5)None right now since I just started back and I hope to get in one soon
6)I'm a people person I know how to handle certain situations I've dealt with certain situations between my friends and had to sort them out and I know that's not the greatest example but I just really love this game and helping others when someone is over stepping the boundries of the game. It's supposed to be fun and enjoyable which it is extremely but if someone swears at someone else or if a fight breaks out or if someone just starts spamming the chat that's when the game just gets annoying and the people that do that are ruining the game for others so they stop playing. I would like to keep this amazing game how it is which is clean and organized and meant to have a lot of fun.
