After noticing that the tech screen refused to scroll (and managing to recenter station scrolling from a diagonal ram), I just checked my version. I'm on v1.3.1.1 (Beta 1), not v1.3.1.4. Any chance you can push a beta update with the missing hotfixes?I now know I should have switched off Beta before I started my Grand Admiral run, but I didn't know it at the time. I also just realized that the Beta version won't otherwise unlock the Hero of the Stars achievement or any of the easier ones, which defeats the point of the run.

After performing the first task at the Counselor's Room and waiting for the boost to time out, I got this message. No such +16 morale materialized.

Ajax Moravek would like his head reattached to his shoulders. This one-pixel levitation business is getting old quickly. For reference, I'm using 1920x1080 full screen.

(I'm pretty sure that the Beta and the standard versions are the same, but I could be wrong.)

I still got the computer's message about the Hull Points taking damage instead of Crew when I loaded a save file. Shouldn't this check when the save file was created, how many times you've gotten the message, or something else to keep it from getting annoying?

Bigger bug: the crew complained about the new Dark Matter Multiplier when it wasn't even finished yet. (See Screenshot of unfinished multiplier.)

Related quasi-bug: a colony asked for me to build a Propulsion Lab, but I hadn't researched the Repair Bay. It would be nice if you only needed to research one thing before building the required room.

I lost an officer in a ground battle, but all I got was a message about the mourning for the green shirts. No "Officer killed in the line of duty," no "Visit the officer academy to promote a replacement," no nothing. (The replace officer task did still appear in the academy list.)

The Counselors Room tasks still claim to be one-time only, despite the patch that made them repeatable. Also, I've always thought it provided a +25 morale boost immediately after construction. I got only a +10 morale boost.

Apparently you sneaked in some extra achievements when you added the Grand Admiral achievement. Based on their names, I'm reconsidering my Grand Admiral achievement-grab-run strategy. (And trying to decide exactly how much dilly-dallying at each point is still acceptable.) Depending on what the requirements actually are, it seems a bit odd that they are hidden. The semi-obvious general strategy is to wait at key points until you are fully prepared to attack. People aren't likely to get those achievements by accident. They might strive to get them if they knew about them, but the complete radio silence isn't helping. (For the record, I only noticed them because I was checking which aliens I'd already annoyed.)

Now to morale. It's a bit odd that finding facilities doesn't provide a morale boost. It would be a way to keep up morale in the early game before you can get the counselor's room. I also find it a bit strange that the "zero" on the counter is 75%. 25% good and 75% bad implies that morale was intended to be an obstacle. (I realize there is a cushion, but still.) If that's the case, it might be a good idea to add a related achievement. For example, beat the game with less than 25% morale, or get morale up to 99%.

I don't believe Grand Admiral is supposed to make a Xlar ship have 50% resistance to Vulnerable, even when serving the Pirates.

EDIT: Nevermind. I didn't notice the planetary effect giving everyone a Vulnerable resistance boost.

Since you didn't change the data in the table, that shouldn't be the problem.

I tried building another .h6module like I suggested, but the game doesn't recognize it in the scenario list. I'm sure this is how mods are going to be implemented when they get full support, but it seems to be hardcoded at the moment. The attachment is what I was hoping would work.
Halcyon 6 is now recognizing the extra .h6module I attached to the above post. It didn't crash when entering the tutorial. (The module doesn't do anything either. I was excited and thought that the game was filling in these helpfully-named text files to the folder structure, and then I remembered that I put those there.   :D)

"Something is definitely wrong. Do not send the troops. Monitor the return portal and let no one use it."
