Anyway, I won for the first time, score of 5056 or thereabouts.

What really worries me is that according to the end credits, that wasn't even a real boss battle.

Yup, the Chruul has more nasty surprises in store.. but then you'll also have Tier 4 and 5 ships to research and make  ;)
