1.3.0.0 Bugs

Note: I'm on the Beta branch, but I don't think it currently makes a difference.

1. When fighting Willa, there were two Willas. I don't think that's intended.

2. I used Bend Spacetime III(?) and had the wrong portrait up. Something similar also occurred in ground combat.

3. The Voraash were their temperamental selves again. I sent my secondary fleet to save Geminga, retreated, and went back. Due to not auto-forwarding, I had to retreat again, instead of triggering the dialog. This time, I got the dialog on my way back. I then went to the Voraash home planet, but the Voraash fleet didn't take the Geminga quest or the exclamation point when it disappeared. I did not get any notifications of Geminga having problems after that.

I may have found more bugs, but I've forgotten them and I didn't take screenshots.

An import bug I just remembered: the auto-fill for ground combat kept giving me greenshirts on the bottom, despite me deliberately having extra officers around. I was extra annoyed the one time that I forgot to replace the greenshirt. (On the plus side, I'm one step closer to the rarest Halcyon 6 achievement... ::))

I thought of another one. In the Cadet Barracks, I researched the second Aim-boosting task. The third failed to appear in the list when I was done. I've completed 4 tasks in each of the other four chains.

I also discovered a typo in the Xlar response when you complete the Culinary mission. It should say "deem" not "deep." Unless the Xlar have additional meanings to their vocabulary...

First off, the death animation for the Chruul Abomination was super cool. I'm not sure why the profile picture for the turn queue showed a standard engineer.

Now, the bugs. I had a superstitious officer (Katrina Saarinen) in the fleet, so I choose that option before the above fight. The text A: was missing the officer's name at the beginning, and B: misspelled "deity" as "diety."

Second bug: the T5 Yabling engineering ship covers up part of the statistics when you right click on it. This may extend to other similar ships. Maybe you could move the stats up to the same layer as the "15% bonus against" text?

It's me again with another load of bugs. ;)

First off, Cadet Speed Bonus V is over near the Starbase Tech instead of at the end of the cadet chain.

I came up with two more things on Sunday, but didn't have time to post them before. One, I overkilled a T5 Chruul Tactical with Backstab Maneuver to finish the fight, but it took about 10 seconds to give me the victory box. I was worried that I would have to retreat. I have a screenshot if you want it, but I doubt it will do much.

The second thing: the Korzan Psychic Examination (they wanted to poke around in one of my spare brains) gave me Fists of Fury, but it didn't end the task, so the mission completed but Lau was still busy.

Here's a save file with the Voraash at Akrillai. Click Main Fleet, right click the Voraash. When the battle starts, retreat. Re-engage the Voraash. Retreat again. The dialogue should commence. If you agree to the Voraash proposal, you should get the situation shown in the screenshot.

It did not matter whether or not I came part way back to base or not. Hope this helps. :D
